How Ukrainian Alternative Rock is built — drum pattern, swing, and the sounds you need.
For drum patterns, aim for a solid rock backbeat with occasional syncopation; use a mix of acoustic and electronic drums for modern edge. BPM around 120-130 feels natural. Add swing to hi-hats for a laid-back groove. Sample traditional Ukrainian instruments like bandura or tsymbaly for authenticity. Layer guitars with clean and distorted tones, and use reverb on vocals for space. Production should be polished but retain live energy.
